Are you here to grow your eCommerce brand?

I'm not taking on clients, but I know who is. Target is an eCommerce strategy and performance agency you should talk to.

You don't want to miss that opportunity.

I work with ambitious eCommerce brands who want to grow their business with a defined strategy.

My strategy driven ecommerce growth process

The key to a great execution is a clear direction. I leverage project management techniques like the 4d's to create a clear strategy direction to enable brand growth. Get to know some of that process below.

1.Discovery

What is discovery?

The discovery phase marks the exciting beginning of our journey towards e-commerce growth.

It's all about diving deep into your brand, understanding your current position, and uncovering untapped potential for taking your business to the next level.

What typically happens in discovery?

During this phase, we embark on a collaborative exploration.

I'll carefully analyse your existing eCommerce operations, studying market trends, and thoroughly research your target audience and competitors.

Additionally, I'll assess vital aspects like your products, pricing, branding, and customer experience to identify areas where improvements can make a significant impact.

Alongside, if you work with agency partners, I would review their ability to meet your needs.

Why is discovery important?

Consider the discovery phase as the compass that guides our growth strategy.

It empowers me to gain invaluable insights into your business's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and potential threats. By understanding where you stand and uncovering new possibilities, I can tailor strategies to maximise your eCommerce growth. Moreover, this phase allows us to align your goals and objectives seamlessly with your target audience's evolving needs and preferences.

What happens if discovery is missed out?

Let's get back to that compass.

Imagine being out on the ocean in a boat and trying to find your way to land. You know it's north but you don't know where north is. You forgot your compass.

You end up sailing around aimlessly to find signals of direction.

You could get lucky and smash it on the first attempt or you could be going in the wrong direction.

If only you had a compass!

2.Define

What is define?

This is where we solidify the e-commerce growth strategy by setting clear objectives and outlining the path to success. In this phase, we work collaboratively to define the scope, goals, and key deliverables that will propel your brand forward.

What typically happens in define time?

Together, we establish SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals and define key performance indicators (KPIs) that will guide our progress.

To outline, we dig deeper into your target market, refine your ideal customer profile, and gain a deep understanding of their preferences, pain points, and aspirations.

Why is define important?

By clearly defining your goals and objectives, we align our efforts towards tangible outcomes.

We ensure that every action we take, from marketing initiatives to operational improvements, directly contributes to your eCommerce success. Defining key metrics and milestones also allows us to measure progress accurately and make data-driven decisions along the way.

What happens if define is not done?

Without a well-defined plan, it's like sailing without a destination in mind (hey at least I didn't use a compass in this one!).

We risk wandering aimlessly and missing out on significant growth opportunities.

Failing to define clear objectives can result in a lack of focus, scattered efforts, and inefficiencies. By skipping this crucial phase, we may also struggle to gauge our progress accurately, making it challenging to course-correct and optimize our strategies for maximum impact.

3.Develop

What is develop?

This is where we transform the eCommerce growth strategy into action and bring it to life.

This is the exciting stage where we execute the planned initiatives, optimise operations, and build a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

What typically happens?

During this phase, we work closely together to implement the strategies defined in the previous phases.

This could include working with creative teams to create briefs through to creating partnerships that grow media opportunities.

Alongside, it will be the stage we have clear forms of measurement that the whole business can use as a source of truth.

Why is the develop stage important?

Well we just put lots of effort into discovery and define, it would be a bit silly to not continue.

Outside of that very obvious point, this is where we begin to see green shoots of opportunity.

Those green shoots lead to great opportunities to deliver the growth you desire.

4.Deliver

What is delivery?

This is where the strategy alongside the implementation is complete.

Of course, this doesn't mean that the growth isn't over. It means you are now at a point to push forward, find more opportunities with the foundation set.
